Raquel Stewart, known simply as, Raquel, is a rising Canadian pop gospel singer born in Las Piñas, Philippines in 1998. She grew up in Vancouver, BC, but endears herself to her Filipino culture and its rich musical heritage. Raquel’s vocals are, in a word, magnetic. Drawing the listener in with her silky quality and timbre while breathing life and character into each and every lyric of the song. Her performance, a rare expression of passion and honesty, uniquely singular, though clearly influenced by such giants as Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, and Sade.

Raquel’s main inspiration and mentor since the age of 4, is her mother, Joy, an accomplished and experienced vocalist in her own right, having spent the majority of her youth as a musical artist and show producer in Japan in the 90s. Raquel is the featured artist on Heavenspire Music’s much anticipated debut offering, ‘The Greatest Miracle of All’, scheduled for wide release in mainstream Christian radio in North America and the Philippines. She regularly leads on the Vancouver’s Coastal Church worship team live services and performs in their musical specials for featured on YouTube, Telus Optik TV, Miracle Channel, and Daystar Television.

Raquel’s musical contributions include performing vocals on the ethereal, ‘Fly Fly Away, Golden Ray Sunshine’ single on the ‘All Dreams Go to Heaven’ album produced by Cat Floaty in June of 2020 .

In December 2020, Raquel performed in Coastal Church’s Christmas Eve Special, and was also a featured artist performing the opening song, Little Drummer Boy, for ‘Hope is Born: A Christmas Special’, produced by Coastal Church.
